American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists The American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists has over 7000 members in the U.S. and 60 countries. Members are employees of dye and chemical manufacturers, fiber producers, machinery manufacturers, testing laboratories, consumer and retail organizations, state and federal government agencies, and universities and colleges.

American Fiber Manufacturers Association (AFMA) AFMA is the trade association for U.S. companies that manufacture and sell synthetic and cellulosic fibers.

Association of Specialists in Cleaning and Restoration The Association of Specialists in Cleaning and Restoration is the leading trade association for cleaning and restoration professionals and the most widely accepted authority, trainer, and educator in the industry.

Coin Laundry Association (CLA) CLA, based in Downers Grove, Illinois, is a 37 year-old, not-for-profit trade association representing the 30,000 coin laundry owners in the United States and around the world.

Halogenated Solvents Industry Alliance (HSIA) HSIA was formed in 1980 by a group of executives and scientists in the chlorinated solvents industry to meet the growing challenges of government regulation. HSIA is dedicated to serving the interests of the halogenated solvents industry - interests that include solvent equipment manufacturers, and producers, distributors, and commercial users of halogenated solvents.

Illinois State Fabricare Association (ISFA) The goals and objectives of ISFA are to serve its members, the public, and the community at large, and to assist all of its members and all fabricare professionals in Illinois in being positive and supportive corporate citizens in the communities which they serve through education and information.

International Textile and Apparel Association (ITAA) ITAA aims to advance scholarship and education in the textiles, apparel, and merchandising field by: defining its intellectual and philosophical mission(s) and proposing plans for future development; advocating research, curricular, and theory development; facilitating the interchange of ideas, knowledge, teaching innovations, and other activities; and disseminating scholarship through meetings, workshops, and publications.

Minnesota Technical Assistance Program The Minnesota Technical Assistance Program (MnTAP) is an outreach program at the University of Minnesota that helps Minnesota businesses develop and implement industry-tailored solutions that maximize resource efficiency, prevent pollution and reduce costs and energy use.

National Cleaners Association (NCA) The National Cleaners Association (NCA) is a professional trade association dedicated to the welfare of well-groomed consumers and the professional cleaners and suppliers who serve them.

Non Affiliated Drycleaners Alliance (NADA) NADA provides information on the textile care industry to all with an interest. NADA sponsors forums, seminars and meetings with the goal of helping people think about all aspects of their lives. We are non-political and are not associated with any state, regional or national trade association.

Northeast Fabricare Association The North East Fabricare Association is a trade association serving drycleaners and launderers in New England, New York and New Jersey. It is affiliated with the International Fabricare Institute.

Ohio Cleaners Association (OCA) OCA represents the legislative, regulatory, technical and educational interests of Ohio's fabricare industry.

Southeastern Fabricare Association The South Eastern Fabricare Association has more than 900 members in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and Alabama.

Southwest Drycleaners Association (SDA) SDA is an affiliate of the International Fabricare Institute and a regional trade association serving the professional drycleaners of Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. SDA has over 800 association members.

Textile Rental Services Association of America The Textile Rental Services Association of America is a non-profit trade association. Its business mission is to protect, promote, and professionalize the industry of its members. Members are for-profit companies engaged in textile maintenance and rental services to commercial, industrial, and institutional accounts. Associate members are for-profit companies that sell services, equipment, or supplies to members.

Center for Neighborhood Technology (CNT) CNT is a research and technical assistance clearinghouse for information on alternative clothes cleaning processes. They produced a paper in November 2000 to investigate alternatives to traditional drycleaning,which can be downloaded at their site.
